Ms. Yin specialises in dispute resolution, particularly corporate disputes and those related to banking and finance, funds, securities, insurance, and transactions and recovery of special assets. She excels in cross-border disputes arising from international trade, international service contracts and other related matters.
Ms. Yin represents clients in litigation, arbitration and enforcement proceedings before adjudicative institutions across China. She regularly assists renowned domestic and foreign companies with disputes involving shareholders’ qualifications, shareholders’ right to know, damage to corporate interests, control of company, validity of resolutions, dissolution and liquidation, M&A contracts, equity incentives, voting rights proxy and securities in relation to listed companies, international trade, international transportation service contracts, among others.
Ms. Yin advises domestic and foreign financial institutions on disputes involving corporate bonds, commercial factoring, credit insurance, letter of credit frauds, equity investments, VAM clauses, private equity exits and others. In transactions and recovery of special assets, she provides full-process legal services covering due diligence, acquisition and disposal for domestic and foreign financial institutions and investors.
Ms. Yin is also experienced in cross-border dispute resolution. She represents clients in arbitration of disputes arising from cross-border trade contracts and service contracts. She provides constructive and practical solutions to complex issues, such as default of delivery and quality disputes, in connection with advanced high-tech equipment, receiving wide praise from clients.
Work experience
Ms. Yin joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2012. She is qualified to practise in China.
She obtained her LL.B. degree from Shanghai University and her LL.M. degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
