Wang Ning focuses his practice mainly on asset financing, securitization and debt capital markets, establishment, restructuring, and bailout of financial institutions, domestic and international financing, and general banking business.
Asset Financing
Wang Ning has extensive experience in aircraft financing and leasing practice. He has assisted various domestic and overseas lessors, financiers, and airlines in all types of transactions in the cross-border and domestic markets, including US Ex-Im guaranteed financing, European ECA financing, French tax leasing, JOLCO leasing, and Chinese bonded area leasing. His clients include well-known domestic and international leasing companies, banks and airlines. In addition, he has also represented clients in business jets purchase, and is quite familiar with each aspect of the purchase, registration, financing, and operation of business jet transactions.
Securitization and Debt Capital Markets
Wang Ning has assisted many banks, non-banking financial institutions, and companies in their asset-backed securitization transactions. The underlying assets of such transactions include corporate loans, auto loans, lease receivables, property fees, toll rights, and heating fees. He has also advised several clients on their offshore USD/RMB bond issuance projects.
Establishment, Restructuring, and Bailout of Financial Institutions
Wang Ning has been actively participating in the opening up of China's financial sector. He has extensive experience in the establishment, restructuring, and bailout of financial institutions, and is quite familiar with latest regulatory policies and practices. He has assisted foreign banks in establishing WFOEs in China, and also advised on the establishment of privately-owned banks, direct banks, financial leasing companies, and auto finance companies, as well as assets & liabilities verification, restructuring, and bailout of financial institutions.
Domestic and International Financing
Wang Ning knows well about various debt financing structures, including asset financing, real estate financing, project financing, M&A financing, import & export credit, and trade finance.
General Banking Business
Wang Ning has advised on different types of banking business. He has assisted both domestic and overseas banks in their business compliance review, advising on legal issues arising from general banking business, providing general legal advice and comments, and helping to draft or revise standard-form documentation.

Mr. Wang Ning joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2006.
Mr. Wang Ning obtained his LL.B. degree of China University of Political Science and Law , and his LL.M. degree of University of Manchester.
