Ms. Liu Ting specializes in corporate compliance and employment.
Ms. Liu has extensive experience in corporate compliance, internal investigations as well as compliance related government investigations and crisis management. She advises her clients on large-scale compliance projects involving anti-corruption, anti-commercial bribery, food safety management processes, and corporate internal control systems, and provides professional legal services for clients on the establishment of internal control systems, risk management, and the handling of employment related issues for violation of compliance requirements.
Ms. Liu participated in a number of comprehensive and representative compliance projects, providing comprehensive compliance legal services to clients' legal and compliance departments on projects including internal compliance investigation of multinational enterprises, establishment of compliance systems for major domestic pharmaceutical enterprises, establishment of compliance management systems and compliance inspections for major SASAC SOEs and other SOEs, and the World Bank's funded projects involving compliance assessment and compliance system establishment and improvement.
Ms. Liu represented major multinational companies in crises management, including governmental investigations and relevant administrative reconsideration, administrative lawsuits, large-scale strikes, major work safety accidents, food safety related crises, etc.
Ms. Liu has extensive experience in labor and employment, providing long-term legal services to a number of large multinational corporations and state-owned enterprises, handling the employment related issues including employees settlement, lay-off, and mass incident in large-scale mergers and acquisitions, organizational restructuring, and reform of state-owned enterprise projects; and also representing clients in labor arbitration and litigation cases, class actions, and collective bargaining with labor unions.

Ms. Liu joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2008.
She obtained her LL.B from the China University of Political Science and Law and LL.M from the University of Warwick.
