Mr. Liu Jun specializes in intellectual property litigation, civil and commercial dispute resolution, and especially high profile and complicated cases. Mr. Liu has over ten years of experience in such practice areas. 

Mr. Liu has advised and represented many multinational and domestic well-known companies in handling cases of IP Litigation before Chinese courts. Mr. Liu's practice areas cover trademark, patent, copyright and anti-unfair competition (including trade secrets). Well-known cases he represented or participated include the dispute regarding the specific packaging and decoration of the famous "Wang Lao Ji" herbal tea, the dispute regarding the well-known trademark of "MeadJohnson", and the dispute regarding the trademark infringement and unfair competition of "Redbull". Some of his cases were selected as annual key cases by the Higher People's Court of Beijing, Guangdong Province, etc. 

Mr. Liu's practice areas also cover civil and commercial litigation. He is a popular legal practitioner among clients because of his outstanding track record in achieving effective legal conclusions in various areas, including commercial disputes concerning contract, forestry, construction and real estate, product quality, corporate and governance structure, and corporation deadlock. Mr. Liu has in-depth understanding on forest-property transaction and dispute resolution, and has handled dozens of relating cases. 

He also pays attention to emerging industries including the internet and video games, and often provides legal analysis and professional advice to clients in these areas. 

Work Experience

Mr. Liu joined King and Wood Mallesons in 2006, prior to which he worked in Guangzhou Zhuoxin Law Firm, Chongqing Guoyan Law Firm and Guangzhou GuangRi Elevator Industry Co., Ltd.

Mr. Liu obtained his master's degree of civil and commercial law from Southwest University of Political Science and Law.

Mr. Liu is fluent in both Chinese and English.
