Li Dongjun's trial practice concentrates in the areas of major commercial, civil, and administrative cases.
Mr. Li has handled and led a wide variety of litigation in such areas as banking and finance, corporate control, shareholder derivative and environmental disputes. He has represented companies and their management in almost every industry, including real estate, mining, energy, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and financial services. Mr. Li has extensive experience in handling complex cases from the pre-litigation investigation stage through trial and appeal, as well as enforcement proceedings.
Mr. Li also specializes in administrative dispute resolution, including administrative hearing, administrative reconsideration and administrative litigation. Mr. Li is versed in articulating strategies, communication and persuasion. He furnished legal advices that serves his clients' both legal and business issues. He has acted as lead counsel in numerous high-stakes cases. His clients include state-owned enterprises, private companies, multinational companies as well as high-net-worth individuals. Mr. Li also provides corporate counsel services.
Mr. Li was recognized as one of the Next Generation Lawyers and Rising Stars by the Legal 500 in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
Work Experience
Mr. Li Dongjun joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2011.
He obtained his LL.B from Jilin University and LL.M from Minzu University of China. He is a Ph. D candidate in civil and commercial law in Remin University of China.
Mr. Li has been admitted to the Chinese bar and his working languages are Chinese and English.
