Jiang Zhihui has extensive experience in advising clients on private equity investment, M&A, finance, securities, domestic and overseas restructuring and listing, etc.
Mr. Jiang manages many projects with market influence in the field of private financing representing enterprises. In private investment and financing and M&A. Mr. Jiang has advised on many high-profile projects , including 1) Ant Financial’s Series A, B, and C financing; 2) Everbright Bank’s and Bank of Luoyang’s introduction of strategic investors; 3) Bank of Hangzhou Consumer Finance Company’s introduction of DiDi; 4) PingPong Intelligence’s Series C and pre-IPO financing; 5) Ainnovation’s introduction of SoftBank; and 6) Kweichow Zhen’s introduction of KKR. In addition, he has represented private equity funds such as Sequoia, Tianyi, Goldman Sachs, CICC and Harvest Fund in dozens of private equity investment projects.
Mr. Jiang has advised enterprises on their restructuring and domestic and overseas listing, including Alibaba's US and Hong Kong listings, Everbright Bank's A-share and H-share listings, Huatai Securities's H-share listing, Ainnovation's H-share listing and full circulation, Zoomlion's H-share listing, China Securities's H-share and A-share listings, BOC International's A-share listing, Beijing Meteno's A-share listing, and Wisdom Sports Group's Hong Kong red-chip listing. In addition, he has also advised a large number of listed companies on their private placement, issuance of preferred stock and convertible bonds, and issuance of shares for acquiring assets.
Mr. Jiang was recognised as the "Equity Deal of the Year" by China Law & Practice and was honored as the "Private Equity Deal of the Year" by the Asian Lawyer.
In 2020, Mr. Jiang was recognised as a recommended lawyer in Fintech by The Legal 500, and one of the "2020 China Top 15 TMT Lawyers" by Asian Legal Business. He was also honored as one of the "Rising Stars" by IFLR 1000.
Work Experience
Mr. Jiang joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2007. He received his LL.B. from Southwest University of Political Science and Law and his LL.M from University of International Business and Economics.
He is a licensed Chinese lawyer and his working languages are Chinese and English.
