Mr. Hu Guangjian specializes in securities, domestic and overseas restructuring and listing, private equity investment fund, etc. Mr. Hu has represented many large state-owned and private enterprises in domestic and overseas listings and bonds issuance in industries including energy, real estate, machinery, pharmaceutical, transportation, internet and software.
In terms of corporate M&A, Mr. Hu has undertaken a good number of high-profile projects, including domestic and cross-border M&As of listed companies through backdoor listing, major asset restructuring, share swap, and listing as a whole, etc.
In addition, Mr. Hu has extensive experience in private equity/securities investment fund and venture capital. He has provided legal services for many leading, innovative fund houses in fund establishment, acquisition, and compliance management, etc. His representative projects include: advising Foxconn Industrial Internet Co., Ltd. on its A-share IPO; advising Guangdong Wens Foodstuff Group Co., Ltd. on its overall listing by share swap; advising Shenzhen Beauty Star Co., Ltd. on its major asset restructuring; and representing the first domestic market-oriented bail-out fund, Shenzhen Angel Capital Guiding Fund and offshore dollar funds. Mr. Hu is commented by his clients as a professional "equipped with substantial professional knowledge and practice experience", and "focuses on clients' commercial purposes and risk control."
Work Experience
Mr. Hu joined King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) in 2007. Prior to joining KWM, he worked at a large state-controlled listed company.
Mr. Hu obtained his bachelor degree from Xiangtan University, and was admitted to practice law in 2006.
Mr. Hu's working languages are Chinese and English.
