Ms. Feng Sufang specializes in foreign investment, M&A and corporate restructuring, liquidation, daily corporate affairs, financial leasing and labor and employment, etc.

With over 10 years of experience in foreign investment, M&A and corporate restructuring, and daily corporate affairs, Ms. Feng has handled tens of large-scaled projects in the fields of foreign investment, M&A and corporate restructuring, technology transfer, company dissolution and liquidation, etc. Ms. Feng also represents foreign clients to participate in the research and discussion of the project feasibility and investment models from the initial stage and in the drafting of all kinds of legal documents to the fullest extent, and directly involves in the negotiation of the projects.

Besides her expertise in the foreign investment related legal services, Ms. Feng also has extensive knowledge and experience in the labor and employment, foreign exchange, taxation and AIC administration related issues involving the incorporation, operation and withdrawal of foreign-invested enterprises.

Additionally, Ms. Feng also serves as legal counselor for a number of large Japanese corporations and Japanese-invested enterprises on their investment, daily operation, labor and employment, compliance management and dispute resolution, etc.

As to the financial leasing, Ms. Feng has been engaged by several large Japanese financial leasing companies for daily advices and is familiar with financial leasing and related foreign exchange control legal issues.

Ms. Feng was awarded for the Outstanding Female Lawyer of Shanghai in 2018.

Work experience

Ms. Feng joined King & Wood Mallesons in April 2009. Prior to joining King & Wood Mallesons, she practiced law since 1993 and worked with several large law firms in the PRC, such as Tianda Law Firm and Guantao Law Firm, etc. She has worked in Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, one of the largest Japanese firms, for the provision of all kinds of legal services for Japanese corporations during their investments in the PRC since 2003.

Ms. Feng received her LL.B from the economic law department of China University of Political Science and Law and her LL.M. in commercial law from Waseda University in Japan after her graduation from the graduate school of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1999, major in finance.

Ms. Feng is a member of the Japanese and Chinese Enterprise Legal Research Institute in Japan.

Ms. Feng was awarded for the Outstanding Female Lawyer of Shanghai in 2018.

She is proficient in Chinese and Japanese.
