Mr. Xu Xiangdong specializes in dispute resolution & litigation.
Mr. Xu is mainly engaged in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, and related non-contentious matters with expertise in complex commercial contract disputes resolution, disposal of non-performing assets of banks and asset management companies. He also has management experience in bankruptcy liquidation.
Mr. Xu has successfully defended many multinational enterprises and well-known domestic enterprises before domestic courts at all levels, arbitration commissions and Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, etc. He also has represented large state-owned banks and asset management companies in a large number of non-performing asset litigation and disposal cases, which earns him a wealth of practical experience in this area. In addition, Mr. Xu has successfully led several bankruptcy liquidation cases, which defended the legitimate rights and interests of creditors and achieved sound social effects. He is highly recognized by his clients for his rigorous, efficient, and professional legal services when advising on non-contentious matters for many foreign companies, state-owned and private enterprises.
Work Experience
Mr. Xu joined the King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) in March 2020. Prior to joining KWM, he was one of the founders of Jiangsu Justwin Law Firm and worked there as an associate and senior partner successively.
He obtained his LL.B. from Jilin University in 2000 and was admitted to practice law in China in 2001.
