Mr. Wu Ye specializes in foreign direct investment, corporate merger & acquisition, private equity & fund, cross border investment and general corporate matters.
Mr. Wu has in-depth understanding and extensive experience in investment, merger & acquisition and general corporate matters, who has been providing legal service for years regarding investment & financing, M&A and restructuring, operational and regulatory and other transactions for various multinational companies, SOEs, private enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises and investment institutions in a wide range of business sectors such as infrastructure, manufacturing, real estate, wholesale and retail, logistics, energy and power, transportation, high-tech, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, environmental protection, fast moving consumer goods and network technology. Mr. Wu has advised a number of multinational companies on establishing equity joint ventures, cooperative joint ventures, wholly foreign owned enterprises or representative offices, and also provided legal services to them on daily operation, business development, transformation and dissolving and liquidation in China; and has provided full legal services for various domestic enterprises in their outbound investment and acquisition; and has also provided perennial or daily legal services to many renowned enterprises in both domestic and overseas markets.
Mr. Wu has also accumulated extensive experience in infrastructure PPP projects, reorganization of state-owned enterprises, PE and fund investment, corporate and business compliance areas. Especially in metro transportation sector, Mr. Wu has represented the well-known foreign investor in a number of milestone urban metro PPP Projects.
Work experience
Mr. Wu Ye joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2005. He acted as the legal counsel for Ping An Insurance (Group) Co. of China Ltd. from 2004 to 2005.
Mr. Wu graduated from Fudan University with LLB degree in International Economic Law, and graduated from University of Sheffield in UK with LLM degree in Commercial Law afterwards. Mr. Wu Ye has been admitted to practice in the PRC.
Mr. Wu is proficient in Chinese and English.
