Victoria Lanyon is a Senior Associate in the tax group where she advises on all aspects of Australian taxation law for large multinational corporations. Victoria has a particular focus on private equity, corporate and energy and resources (both traditional and renewable) clients. She also advises on matters involving the taxation of not-for-profits.
Victoria’s work highlights include:
- Blackstone Singapore Pte Ltd - advised on $24 billion AirTrunk Acquisition.
- EBOS Group Limited - advised NZX and ASX-listed New Zealand company EBOS Group Limited (EBOS) on its acquisition of LifeHealthcare from funds advised by Pacific Equity Partners for a total consideration of ~A$1.167 billion.
- Wollar Solar Holding Pty Ltd (WSH) - a member of the Beijing Energy Group (BJEI Australia): advised on its entry into a Scheme Implementation Agreement under which WSH proposes to acquire TPC Consolidated Limited (TPC) by way of a scheme of arrangement.
- MatchBox Exchange - advised the shareholders of MatchBox Exchange on the company’s sale to ASX listed WiseTech Global. The sale comprises 100% shares in Matchbox Exchange, with a portion of the Purchase Price discharged by the issue of new shares in WiseTech Global.
- Corsair Infrastructure Partners (CIP) - advised CIP, the global infrastructure investment business of Corsair Capital, on the sale of Gateway Infrastructure Investments' stake in DP World Australia (DPWA) to DP World and to new investment funds managed by CIP.
- Envato Pty Ltd - acted for Australian digital creative company Envato on its sale to US-based global creative platform Shutterstock for US$245 million.
- Betashares - advised ETF Betashares on its agreement to acquire Bendigo Superannuation Pty Ltd.
