Mr. Molan specialises in cross-border M&A, strategic investment and project development with a focus on the energy and natural resources sectors.
Mr. Molan has significant experience advising clients at all stages of their energy and petrochemical projects globally, with a particular focus on strategic cross-border joint ventures involving Chinese companies. He represents national oil companies, private developers and other companies on mergers, acquisitions and divestments, construction and development, shareholders arrangements, operation and maintenance, and trading matters.
Mr. Molan has been recognised for his work in the energy industry by legal publications including IFLR 1000 and Euromoney Legal Media Group's Expert Guides.
Work Experience
Mr. Molan joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2021. Before that he worked in international law firms in China, the Middle East, Europe and Australia.
Mr. Molan received his Bachelor of Law degree (with honors) and his Bachelor of Arts degree (with honors) from The University of Melbourne. He is admitted to practice in England & Wales, Hong Kong, Australia and Ireland.
Mr. Molan’s working languages are English and French.
