Areas of practice
Mr. Li Feng's main areas of practice are foreign direct investment, merger and acquisition, cross-border trade.
Mr. Li has led or participated in over one hundred projects pertaining to FDI, M&A, dissolution and liquidation, and international trade in various industries such as automobile, electricity, chemicals, medicine, machinery, food, internet, retail, to name but a few. Mr. Li represents and assists many multinational corporates to deal with the matters of investment in China, acquisition of other enterprises, restructuring legal entities and other daily legal issues including employment, foreign exchange, anti-trust and dispute resolutions by participating project structure, conducting due diligence, drafting or reviewing relevant legal documents, participating negotiation between parties, providing legal opinions and representing clients in governmental procedures, etc.
Work experience
Mr. Li joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2010. Prior to joining King & Wood Mallesons, Mr. Li was working at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto from 2003 to 2006 in Japan, at Morrison & Foerster's Tokyo office from 2006 to 2008 and at Paul Hastings' Beijing office from 2008 to 2009.
Mr. Li received his LL.B and LL.M from the University of Tokyo in 2001 and 2003. Mr. Li also graduated from Columbia Law School where he obtained another LL.M in 2010.
Mr. Li's working languages are Mandarin, Japanese and English.
