Laura specializes in corporate financing, capital market transactions, mergers & acquisitions (including going private transactions), CFIUS matters, securities compliance (34’ Act filings) and other general corporate transactions in commercial activities.
Laura has represented clients in a broad range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, education, information technology, semiconductor, software, clean energy, agriculture, and other consumer products.
Work experience
Laura joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2017. Prior to that, she was a partner at a major international law firm for many years. Laura worked in international firms in Silicon Valley, New York, and Shanghai.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Laura was a financial analyst and a marketing analyst at the former Westinghouse Electric Corporation and won the Westinghouse Total Quality Award for her contributions.
Laura obtained a B.E. from Shanghai Jiaotong University (with the honor of exempting from PRC college admissions exams), an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from Rollins College, and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.
Laura is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey and California.
Laura’s working languages are Chinese and English.
