Mr. Ding specializes in patent prosecution of computer software, and his services involve patent search, patent prosecution, patent drafting, patent invalidation, patent infringement, patent analysis and other intellectual property-related legal services. Mr. Ding’s practice areas also include patent portfolio management as well as the high-value software patents, etc.
Mr. Ding’s patent expertise spans a variety of areas including computer software, artificial intelligence (AI), big data, computer hardware, computer networks and communication technologies. He has handled a large number of patent applications in the electronic field, and has drafted a significant number of Chinese and English patent applications for domestic and foreign companies. Additionally, he has dealt with several patent invalidation and infringement cases in the fields of computer software and artificial intelligence.
Work experience
Mr. Ding joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2015. He has worked in patent examination practice for several years and worked as a director of intellectual property in a large company.
Mr. Ding received his Bachelor's degree in engineering from Xiamen University and his Master's degree from the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China. Mr. Ding was admitted as a Chinese patent attorney in 2014.
Mr. Ding's working languages are Chinese and English.
