Ms. Ding specializes in foreign direct investment, M&A, corporate restructuring and liquidation, customs and trade compliance.

She has advised various clients on foreign investment in China, M&A, corporate restructuring and liquidation, and divestment projects, covering a broad range of industries including energy, electronics, machinery, automobile, finance, food, service and retail industry. She has extensive experience and expertise in labor, foreign exchange, customs and other matters related to establishment, operation and divestment of foreign invested enterprises.

She has participated in a large number of customs and trade compliance cases, and is very experienced in the structuring of and compliance investigation into imports and exports of businesses, compliance management of trade, customs valuation special audits etc.  

Ms. Ding serves as a legal advisor for many multinational corporations, major domestic and foreign institutions and enterprises. She advises these clients on their investment, transaction and financing business in a holistic manner and provides legal advice on day-to-day operation and avoiding potential disputes.

Work Experience

Ms. Ding joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2007. Before that she worked for Toyota Motor Finance (China) Co.,Ltd, and previously worked for a Japanese law firm.

She received LL.B. from Fudan University and LL.M. from Law School of Peking University.During her undergraduate program, she studied in Japan as an exchange student. She was admitted to Chinese bar in 2007.
