Angela Chen specialises in capital markets (onshore/offshore initial public offerings (including spin-off IPO), refinancing and debt financing), mergers and acquisitions, mixed reform of state owned enterprises, equity incentives, funds and private equity investment, corporate governance, and so on.
Ms. Chen has extensive experience in capital markets. She has led and worked on projects including domestic and overseas listing, refinancing, domestic and overseas bond offering, M&A and restructuring, and private equity investment. She also counsels on mixed reform of SOEs and equity incentives. She advises clients in a wide range of sectors such as real estate, financial services, property management, aviation, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, telecommunications, technology, and healthcare.
Angela Chen was certified as capital increase specialist by Shanghai United Assets and Equity Exchange in 2020.

Angela Chen's working languages are Chinese and English. Angela Chen joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2015. Before that, she worked in Mission Hills Group and HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES CO.LTD.
Angela Chen obtained her master degree from Master of Economic Law in HUST, and received her Bachelor degree of Law in Wuhan University and Bachelor of Arts in HUST(English).
