Corporate:
- Advising Stonepeak on its acquisition of a preferred equity interest in AGP Sustainable Real Assets, which develops and operates sustainable real assets across renewable energy, infrastructure and communities and natural capital sectors
- Acting for energy retailers on the purchase of renewable energy and the subsequent supply of electricity to customers across the National Electricity Market. This work involved negotiation with electricity generators with solar, wind and battery products
- Acting for Transgrid on various transmission rollout projects to support the NSW REZs and priority transmission projects, including projects to support the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap
- Advising ESB (Electricity Supply Board of Ireland) on its 50:50 joint venture with Red Rock Power in relation to the Inch Cape offshore wind farm development off the east coast of Scotland
- Acting for European renewable energy fund, Aquila Capital, on the sale of five onshore wind farm projects located in Sweden
- Acting for BP on the $5bn sale of its acetyls and aromatics businesses to INEOS, the global manufacturer of petrochemicals, chemicals and oil products
- Advising Sponsors on various construction, operation and offtake matters for the Cramlington and Speyside biomass greenfield energy projects in the United Kingdom
Financing:
- Advising GIG (Green Investment Group) on its £1.6bn acquisition of a 40% interest in the 714MW East Anglia One offshore windfarm, and GIG’s subsequent equity sell down to The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited
- Acting for OMERS, Allianz and AXA on their successful bid for a 49.99% interest in Altice France’s fibre to the home business and €1.9bn financing package
- Advising Queensland Airports on its shareholder and corporate financing arrangements
- Advising the UK Department for Transport and Her Majesty’s Treasury on the £825m financing package for completion of the Crossrail underground rail project and advising on the project governance arrangements with Transport for London
- Acting for Olympia Odos on the financing arrangements and concession agreement for the Corinth-to-Patras motorway and related infrastructure in Greece
- Advising Green Investment Group on the acquisition financing of a 25% interest in the Westermost Rough offshore wind farm
- Advising lenders on the €474m D4 Highway project financing, the first motorway PPP in the Czech Republic
Government:
- Acting for AEMO Services Limited on the second tender for Long-Term Energy Service Agreements (“LTESAs”) under the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap. This tender focused on firming infrastructure and demand response assets
- Acting for the Queensland Department of State Development on the development by the Brisbane Broncos of a new rugby league high performance training facility and community centre
- Advising the Queensland Government on the redevelopment and competitive tender process for the Herston Quarter, a $1.1 billion major urban renewal project incorporating heritage and health elements and supporting development over a 4.8 ha site with long term leasing, construction and PFI contract components
- Acting for a public-sector Hospital project company on contingency planning, contractual rights analysis and project restructuring options following the liquidation of the Carillion group as its construction contractor
