King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) is delighted to have advised Big Data Exchange (BDx) on its conditional sale and purchase agreement of shares (CSPA) and joint venture agreement, together with a series of commercial and operational agreements, with PT Indosat Tbk (Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison or IOH), PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta, and PT Starone Mitra Telekomunikasi (SMT). This would be one of the largest foreign investments in the data centre sector in Indonesia with an estimated US$300m enterprise value and marks BDx’s entry into the Indonesian data centre market. BDx is a leading data centre, colocation and hybrid cloud solutions provider in Asia-Pacific which is owned by global private equity giant I Squared Capital.
Led by Jake Robson, the KWM team was also made up of Partners Nick Davies, Greg Protektor, Patrick Gunning and Francesca Giorlando as well as Senior Associates Azlan Mohamed Noh, Charles Davies and Solicitor Andrea Shan.
