Mr. Zhou Jie specializes in cross-border finance, asset management and financial regulations.
Mr. Zhou has extensive experience in traditional and innovative financing businesses, including asset finance and leasing, real estate investment and financing, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance, structured finance, establishment and merger of financial institutions, financial technology and financial regulations. Mr. Zhou has been actively acting for domestic and international investment banks, commercial banks, leasing companies, asset managers, fund managers and multinational corporations. He is proficient in the legal services for cross-border transactions, representing the Chinese clients in funds raising in the international credit and capital market, assisting the Chinese airlines with their acquisition of aircraft, and advising on foreign clients’ investment and operations in China. In particular, with his insight in the Chinese financial regulations, Mr. Zhou has worked with international financial institutions in setting up presence in China including commercial banks and non-banking financial institutions such as auto finance company, financial leasing company, asset manager and consumer finance company.

Mr. Zhou re-joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2012. Prior to that, he has worked for King & Wood Mallesons, and a prestigious international bank in Beijing.
Mr. Zhou received his B.A and LL.M. degrees from China Foreign Affairs University.
