Mr. Zhang Jingping specializes in corporate, securities, M&A, private equities, and financing and has special expertise and extensive experience in Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) industry.
Mr. Zhang has advised on the establishment and financing of internet start-ups including social media platforms, knowledge service providers and operators, and internet financial service providers. Furthermore, he has also provided legal advice on the restructuring and listing for many well-known state-controlled TMT companies, including several major national and local news websites, film distributors and cinema operators.
In addition, Mr. Zhang has assisted several PE/VC institutions in the field of TMT in soliciting limited partners (LPs) and project investment, etc.
Work Experience
Mr. Zhang rejoined King & Wood Mallesons in 2017, and before that, he was a partner at East & Concord Partners. The past working experience as a senior executive at listed companies both at home and abroad rendered him business management expertise in the TMT industry.
Mr. Zhang graduated from the School of Journalism and Communication of Anhui Normal University in 1998 with a bachelor degree, and obtained his JD degree from Suzhou University in 2007.
He was qualified to practice law in China in 2007.
Mr. Zhang's working languages are Chinese and English.
