Ye Wanli focuses on intellectual property dispute resolution.
His experience includes advising client in litigation matters related to intellectual property infringement, unfair competition, and administrative court appeals. He also helps manage IP criminal and administrative enforcement matters and advise portfolio strategy.
Wanli has experience representing a diverse range of companies in IP litigation before different levels of Chinese courts. He has helped resolve high-stake IP disputes for global technology leaders, manufacturers and companies in the luxury, telecommunications, software, banking, apparel, consumer products, industrial automation and automobile industries. Some of the cases were selected as representative cases by the Supreme People’s Court and lower courts.
His unique experience and expertise in both managing and enforcing intellectual property enabling him to provide comprehensive and practical solution to the clients for their intellectual property disputes in China.
Work Experience
Wanli joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2014. From 2017 to 2019, he worked at Beijing representative offices of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP and Perkins Coie LLP.
Wanli earned his LL.B. from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2010, an M.S. in Intellectual Property Management and Markets from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2012 and an LL.M. in American Law with IP concentration from Boston University in 2013.
Wanli was admitted to the Bar of the People’s Republic of China in 2015. His working languages are Mandarin and English.
