Wang Xin specialises in civil and commercial dispute resolution, with extensive experience in resolving commercial disputes. She has represented clients in many complex civil and commercial litigation cases, playing an instrumental role in their proper resolution. Ms. Wang is skilled at handling corporate disputes relating to equity transfers, financing, M&A, infringement by directors, supervisors and senior management, and corporate control. Her expertise extends to securities compliance and litigation, as well as disputes over financial loans involving Chinese and foreign financial institutions, and non-standard credit asset recovery. In addition, she provides clients with commercial dispute resolution strategies and helps them navigate potential litigation risks.

Ms. Wang has represented numerous Chinese and foreign companies in cooperating with the administrative investigations by the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the administrations for market regulation, as well as in administrative penalty hearing proceedings. In such cases, she fully assisted clients in cooperating with regulatory authorities in their investigations and completing subsequent rectification, earning trust and recognition from clients. Ms. Wang also has rich project experience in non-contentious legal services such as M&A and corporate governance, foreign investment compliance, and capital markets. In addition, her previous role as the head of legal affairs for a company under the Ministry of Education of the PRC has provided her with a deep understanding of internal decision-making and compliance management of state-owned enterprises.

Over the years, Ms. Wang has provided high-quality legal services for many well-known domestic and foreign companies investing and operating in China. The clients she served span a variety of industries, including capital markets, financial services, cross-border trade, home appliances, cosmetics, automobile and auto parts manufacturing, automobile shipping, real estate, and new energy. She counsels on various practices such as dispute resolution, financial securities, and investment compliance. Ms. Wang has been accumulating professional, international, and cross-practice project experience throughout her long-term legal career, committed to delivering exceptional legal services to the clients. 

Work experience

Ms. Wang joined King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) in 2013, and has completed secondments at KWM’s Tokyo and New York offices.

She received her Juris Master from Peking University and Bachelor’s degree in Japanese from Jilin University. She also obtained an LL.M. from Emory University School of Law. Ms. Wang is qualified to practise law in China.

Her working languages ​​are Chinese, Japanese and English.
