Sun Huili specialises in civil and commercial disputes and administrative disputes. She is particularly experienced in resolving disputes in corporate, securities, finance, energy and real estate. She excels in handling disputes over corporate M&A and restructuring, corporate control contention, investment and financing, matters in energy industry, and cooperative development.

Ms. Sun has led over 100 litigation and arbitration cases, including many complex and challenging ones. She has also managed a large number of pre-litigation disputes. With extensive experience and profound capabilities in dispute resolution, she thoroughly understands and efficiently addresses legal disputes in relevant industries. She is fully in charge of and deeply involved in tasks like case analysis and planning, document preparation, court appearances, communication, and negotiation. She is familiar with the procedures and adjudication logics of courts and arbitration institutions, offering constructive and practical dispute resolution solutions. Her clients mainly include large and medium-sized SOEs, listed companies, private enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, and high-net-worth individuals.

In corporate and securities dispute resolution, Ms. Sun has assisted many listed or non-listed companies, banks, and private equity funds. Her services span a wide range of disputes, including corporate M&A and restructuring, corporate control, shareholders’ capital contributions, corporate resolutions, shareholders’ right to information, equity transfers, corporate external guarantees, stock-pledged repurchase transactions, judicial dispositions of stocks, valuation adjustment mechanisms, fund withdrawals, misrepresentation , insider trading, financial loans, notes, and bonds. She has particularly rich experience in overall resolution for major and complex disputes.

In addition, Ms. Sun has managed a wide spectrum of disputes for new energy enterprises and mining enterprises. Her expertise covers EPC contracts for photovoltaic projects, wind power project investments and construction, photovoltaic module sales, wind turbine sales, mining right transfers, assignments, cooperation, leases, contracting, trans-boundary mining, mineral resource overlay, mineral product trading, and mergers and restructurings of coal mining enterprises. She has also assisted real estate companies and construction enterprises in resolving real estate and engineering disputes. Her experience ranges across primary land development; land use right recoveries, grants and assignments; real estate cooperative development, transfers, leases, mortgage guarantees, and financing; urban renewal and old city renovations; and construction project payment settlements, quality, and construction period.

Ms. Sun graduated from Peking University Law School with LL.M degree economic law and obtained LL.B degree in China University of Political Science and Law. Ms. Sun was admitted as a Chinese lawyer in 2012.
