Mr. Mo specializes in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, banking and finance, and PE investments.
Mr. Mo has extensive experience in multinational enterprises’ FDI projects and well-known domestic enterprises’ outbound investments. Among the projects led by Mr. Mo, some were awarded as the deal of the year by leading professional institutions. He has participated in and headed many establishment, reorganization, restructuring and merger, assets securitization and IPO projects involving financial institutions. He also has significant experience in advising clients in transactions with respect to distressed assets and companies.
Mr. Mo is currently retained as external general legal counsel by many well known listed companies. He possesses an in-depth knowledge about the capital markets in Mainland China, Hong Kong and United States, and has provided seamless legal advices on investment funds to corporate clients, pre-IPOs to funds, domestic and international IPOs as well as major asset restructuring and M&A for listed companies. He has also represented clients in a variety of industries such as High-tech, cross-border E-commerce, internet, biopharmaceuticals, education, mass consumption, catering, advertising, real estate and manufacturing, etc.
Mr. Mo was awarded as leading lawyer in the field of “Corporate/M&A" by Chambers Global, Chambers Asia-Pacific and Chambers Greater China from 2020 to 2023 consecutively. Additionally, The Legal 500 has awarded Mr. Mo as a “Highly Recommended Lawyer” in the field of “Corporate/M&A" for 2023 and 2024. Mr. Mo was awarded by China Business Law Journal as a member of the exclusive A-List – The Visionaries of China’s legal profession in 2023.
Mr. Mo was respectively recognized as one of the Legal Talents Scheme in Foreign-related Business launched by All China Lawyers Association in 2013, one of the Top 1000 Legal Talents in Foreign-related Business by PRC Ministry of Justice in 2018, and the Leading talent of foreign-related lawyers in Guangdong Province respectively by Guangdong Lawyers Association in 2018.
Currently, Mr. Mo also serves as a supervisor to the LL.M students at the School of Law of Sun Yat-sen University and at the School of Law of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.

Mr. Mo joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2005.
Mr. Mo has been admitted to the All China Lawyer Association and CPA Australia.
Mr. Mo obtained his BA degree in English (international business law) from the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, and a LL.M degree from City University of Hong Kong. Mr. Mo also studied at the American University Washington College of law as exchange postgraduate student for international commercial law in 2005.
Mr. Mo is proficient in English and Chinese.
