Ms. June Gu (Xiangjun) specialises in corporate M&A, cross-border investment and foreign investment review related regulatory and compliance matters.
Ms. Gu advises Chinese clients on their strategies for entering overseas markets and multinational companies on their investments and business expansions in China. Her practice focuses on major and complex cross-border M&As, equity investments, joint ventures, greenfield investments and other types of commercial transactions. Her clients come from sectors including semiconductor, new energy, automobile, autonomous driving, pharmaceuticals and industrials.
In assisting Chinese companies going global, Ms. Gu has accumulated extensive experience in foreign investment clearance and national security review in jurisdictions including the United States, Europe and Australia. In particular, she provides continued support for Chinese investors in the cutting-edge technology and highly regulated sectors.
Work experience
Ms. Gu joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2012.
She obtained her BBA (Law) and LL.B. degrees from the University of Hong Kong.
