Gary Hamp is a Banking & Finance Partner based in our Singapore office.
Gary has over 25 years of experience with his practice ranging from traditional bank lending to leveraged and structured finance. He has acted for private credit funds, financial institutions, corporate borrowers and private equity sponsors. Gary also advises on the financing and banking law aspects of complex restructurings. He brings extensive cross-jurisdictional experience and connectivity within the Asian region, having worked in Hong Kong for over 10 years. He has significant experience advising clients across Asia and EMEA on a broad range of financing transactions and leading cross-border teams.
Prior to joining KWM, Gary was a partner at top-tier international law firms and was the co-practice group chair of the global banking practice of a leading global law firm from 2016 to 2019.
Gary is qualified to practice in England and Hong Kong SAR.
