Esther Yee is a Special Counsel in the South and South East Asia Corporate and M&A practice and is based in our Singapore office. Esther’s practice spans cross-border acquisitions, disposals, joint venture arrangements and strategic investments and fundraisings, including late stage investments into start-ups and exits. She also advises issuers and underwriters on IPOs and secondary issuances across Asia.
Esther has practiced in Asia for over 12 years, with transaction experience in sectors such as resources, renewables and infrastructure, technology and financial institutions.
Prior to joining King & Wood Mallesons, Esther worked with a leading UK law firm in London and Hong Kong and most recently with a Magic Circle firm in Hong Kong.
Esther is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and Hong Kong, and is fluent in written and spoken Mandarin.
