Kate's practice primarily involves general corporate and commercial support for companies in highly regulated industries, with a particular focus on telecommunications and financial services. Kate is experienced in advising on regulatory issues and complex deal management.  

Kate has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating long-term strategic commercial agreements, long term-term services contracts and transaction documents, advising clients on regulatory issues, complex deal management and due diligence. Kate primarily advises in various infrastructure industries, including telecommunications, IT and transport. 

Kate's work highlights include: 

  • IAG joint venture for Home Repair Hub: Leading the KWM team advising on IAG's establishment of a joint venture with RACV for the establishment of a national home/property ecosystem. 
  • Telstra: Providing strategic advice; acquisition support; and advising on various aspects of spectrum allocation under the Radiocommunications Act. 
  • Amaysim: Advising on Amaysim's acquisition of a number of mobile virtual network operators.
