Areas of Practice
Bai Tao specialises in corporate reorganisation, liquidation, debt restructuring, bankruptcy derivative litigation, and corporate restructuring and M&A. He has led and worked on projects covering the reorganisation of listed companies, the merger and reorganisation of large non-listed companies and their affiliates, and the major asset restructuring of listed companies. He advises clients in the steel, shipbuilding, papermaking, cement, real estate, auto parts, photovoltaics and other industries.
Since he started his legal career in 2012, Mr. Bai has been focusing on debt restructuring, bankruptcy reorganisation and bankruptcy liquidation. With rich experience, he has advised large central enterprises, SOEs, and private enterprise groups, listed companies and unlisted large enterprises on restructuring, bankruptcy liquidation, IPO, asset management and investment, and other capital market matters.
Mr. Bai joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2011 and worked in Beijing and Guangzhou office. He also practised in a well-known domestic law firm for some time.
