Mr. Yang Hongjun specializes in patent protection. He has extensive experience in a variety of areas, including pharmaceuticals, organic chemistry, biochemistry, synthetic and natural pharmaceuticals, antibiotics, pesticides, polymers, catalyzers, detergents, cosmetics, as well as inks and dyes. He provides legal services in patent application/inquiry/search, patent re-examination and invalidation, patent infringement analyses, patent administrative and legal proceedings, investigation of patent infringements by administrative authorities, licensing and assignments of patents and know-how, and other matters related to intellectual property rights.
Work experience
Mr. Yang Hongjun joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2002. Prior to this, he was a patent attorney at the Patent and Trademark Law Office of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. He obtained his B.Sc. from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, and an LL.M. degree from Peking University Law School. He was admitted as a Chinese patent attorney in 1996 and an attorney-at-law in 2000. Mr. Yang is proficient in English, Japanese, and Chinese.
