Mr. Xu Hailong specialises in domestic dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration, especially disputes in trade, investment and financing, and construction.
With 15 years of experience in dispute resolution, Mr. Xu has handled hundreds of complex and high-value cases. Drawing on his in-depth understanding of the adjudicative thinking and operation of courts and arbitration institutions, he is able to provide clients with integrated and constructive dispute resolution solutions. He maximises the business interests of clients from a criminal-civil mixed perspective. Mr. Xu has represented state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises, listed companies, central and local enterprises in disputes involving real estate and construction projects, financing guarantee contract, port cargo, supply chain financing, commercial contracts, equity, M&A, company capital, company control rights, infringement of shareholders’ rights, real property development, and tort, etc. He is widely recognised by his clients in these cases.

Advising on the disposal of non-performing financial assets invested by an investment holdings company in Shandong Province, and handling a large number of loan contract disputes in the trial and enforcement procedures.
Representing a central enterprise in handling a series of port cargo disputes where Mr. Xu successfully recovered huge losses for client and was highly praised by the client.
Work experience
Mr. Xu Hailong joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2017. Prior to this, Mr. Xu practiced law for more than ten years with Wincon Law Firm in Shandong, China.
Mr. Xu received his LL.B. degree of Northwest University of Political Science and Law in 2000. Mr. Xu obtained the qualification of Chinese lawyer in 2005.
