Ms. Qi specializes in cross-border dispute resolution, as well as litigation/arbitration and non-contentious practices in capital market and real estate related area.
Ms. Qi has represented a large number of international litigation and arbitration cases at all levels of China's courts and Chinese/international arbitration institutions (including but not limited to CIETAC, SCIA, SHIAC, HKIAC,SIAC). Her cases primarily involve disputes in international trade, securities, corporate equity etc.
In the area of real estate, Ms. Qi has provided comprehensive solutions in joint development, M&A and project exit for both domestic and overseas developers for years. In the area of capital market, Ms. Qi has handled series of cases involving company control, securities and trust.
Particularly, Ms. Qi has a unique advantage in providing legal services to Hong Kong and Singapore investors in resolving complex China-related commercial disputes, and working together with foreign lawyers in cross-border cases, and providing insightful views on risk control and crisis management.
Work Experience
Ms. Qi joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2012, prior to which, she worked as a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Singapore local law firms and with such work experience, she has accumulated a wide range of local resources which enable her to assist clients in conducting various local business in Singapore.
Ms Qi is a member of Talent Pool of Leading Foreign Lawyers in Guangdong and Talent Pool of Leading Foreign Lawyers in Shenzhen.
Ms. Qi obtained a LL.B. from Shandong University in China, and acquired a LL.M. degree of Maritime Law from National University of Singapore.
Ms. Qi's working language is Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
