Areas of Practice 

Lv Mengdan is a partner in King & Wood Mallesons' Dispute Resolution Department, specializing in commercial arbitration and litigation, particularly on disputes of equity investment, joint venture, international trade, as well as BOT/PPP disputes. 

Ms. Lv has successfully represented domestic and foreign clients in numerous international and foreign-related arbitrations under the rules of CIETAC, BAC, HKIAC, SIAC, SCC, LCIA and Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI).

Ms. Lv's practice focuses on resolving disputes arising from equity investments, joint ventures, international trades, financial product transactions, intellectual properties, BOT and PPP projects. In the areas of equity investment and joint venture, she has dealt with more than 30 cases involving disputes related to the valuation adjustment mechanism, statements and guarantees of the original shareholder, rights and obligations of investor, termination of joint venture contract, corporate control, minority shareholder's right to repurchase, corporate dissolution and liquidation.

Ms. Lv has represented clients in a number of litigation cases, involving applications to confirm the validity of arbitration clauses, applications to set aside the arbitration awards, as well as applications to recognize and enforce foreign arbitral awards.

Ms. Lv was seconded to a multinational information technology corporation for six months, helping the client supervising and managing more than 150 debt collection cases, dealing with arbitration proceedings, asset investigations, applications for asset preservation and enforcement of the arbitral awards. 

In 2019, Ms. Lv was ranked as the "Next Generation Lawyer" in dispute resolution area in PRC by Legal 500, a leading ranking institute in the legal service industry.

Work Experience

Lv Mengdan joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2010 and was admitted to practice law in PRC in 2013.

Ms. Lv received her LL.B and LL.M from University of International Business and Economics .
