Mr. Dang Zhe specialises in corporate debt restructuring and bankruptcy reorganization.
In the field of corporate debt restructuring, Mr. Dang is experienced in restructuring, debt restructuring and asset disposal for large-sized companies and financial institutions. With more than ten years of international practice experience and solid professional skills, Mr. Dang has served as the lead lawyer for several influential large state-owned conglomerates. In the area of bankruptcy reorganization (in-court debt restructuring), Mr. Dang has been involved in the bankruptcy restructuring of many listed companies and large conglomerates in the steel, chemical, pharmaceutical, financial services and infrastructure industries.
In 2015, Mr. Dang was named as a Highly Recommended Lawyer in China by The Legal 500. He sits on the Advisory Committee of the Supreme People's Court Cases Guidance Research (Beijing) Base. Mr. Dang was also invited to give lectures on law in Peking University and other universities.
Mr. Dang is one of the standing directors of the Copyright Society of China, and sits on the Advisory Committee of the Supreme People's Court Intellectual Property Cases Guidance Research (Beijing) Base. In 2015, Mr. Dang Zhe has been named as one of the highly recommended lawyers in the field of IP in China by Legal 500 in its 2016 Asia Pacific rankings. In addition, Mr. Dang was also invited to give lectures on law in Peking University and other universities.
Work experience
Mr. Dang obtained his Bachelor Degree at the Law School of Fudan University (Shanghai, China) in 2003 and LL.M. Degree in Commercial Law at the Law School of the University of Edinburgh (Edinburgh, UK) in 2004. Mr. Dang joined KWM in 2004 and became a registered PRC lawyer in 2005.
Mr. Dang is fluent in both Chinese and English.
