Chen Hua specialises in M&A, project financing, asset-backed securitisation (ABS) and foreign direct investment, with a unique focus on real estate and infrastructure.
He advises global investment banks, MNCs, and domestic and international companies on matters such as M&A and financing of real estate projects, and development and investment in real estate and infrastructure projects.
Focusing on real estate for years, Mr. Chen worked on a number of high-profile commercial, industrial and residential property projects. He advised on various links of such projects, including investment and financing, development and land bidding, project development, construction and operation, and large-scale property sale and leasing. He has developed extensive market experience and industry expertise. In addition, Mr. Chen also has a proven track record in real estate investment funds and structured financing. He is engaged in the practice and research of legal aspects of ABS and advises on ABS deals including quasi-REITs, CMBS and other structured financing products.
Mr. Chen also has unique expertise and broad experience in infrastructure across a range of industries, including new urban development, wastewater treatment, water supply, highway, wind power, and garbage disposal. His clients include local governments, SOEs, POEs, MNCs and investors.
