At last night's AsiaLaw Awards dinner, KWM won three significant awards:

The AsiaLaw Awards are amongst the most highly regarded in the legal sector, as they recognise the leading local and regional law firms in Asia. According to AsiaLaw, their winners were selected according to three categories:
- Innovation
- Complexity
- Impact
Commenting on the awards, Co-Chief Executive Hayden Flinn said: "After such a busy year, we are delighted that the hard work of our teams and the support of our clients have been acknowledged with these major awards. Hong Kong and North Asia are very important to our firm and so receiving this local recognition means a lot to us all."
Head of the Banking & Finance practice Richard Mazzochi added: "Our clients have been engaged in some truly innovative deals this year and it has been fascinating to work alongside them. I am very proud that our involvement in these complex deals and the tireless efforts of my teams in Banking and Finance have led us to receiving these awards."
Jack Wang, Head of KWM China's Banking & Finance practice, also commented: "I am proud of my team. They are leading practitioners in the banking & finance practice with various ages. We appreciate our clients' recognition, and the opportunities that they provided for us, through which we have been keeping our strength and leading position in innovation and cutting-edge fields."
Earlier this month, the firm also won five awards at the 2017 Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards, including Best International firm in China Practice. The awards celebrate the advancement of women in the legal profession throughout Asia, and recognise those firms that have excelled across initiatives such as gender diversity, innovation, work-life balance, pro-bono work and talent management.
