King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) is pleased to announce the addition of three counsel to the Hong Kong office. The new joiners span across the Banking & Finance and Corporate & Securities groups and their addition will strengthen the firm's capabilities in corporate, non-contentious regulatory and compliance and structured finance.
The three appointed counsel are:
- Jonathan Chapman (Banking & Finance): Jonathan represents investment banks, funds, insurance companies and corporates in a range of structured finance and derivatives transactions across the Asia Pacific region. His practice includes advising on equity, credit, fund-linked, FX and interest rate derivatives, equity financing and trade financing, structured repos and securities loans, structured credit transactions, and regulatory matters and disputes.
- Gary Lam (Corporate & Securities): Gary represents clients across a wide range of industry sectors, including advising public and private companies in their cross-border transactions in Hong Kong and the PRC. He has solid experience in a variety of corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and compliance-related matters. His also advises on corporate finance, privatisation, cross-border transactions and general commercial work.
- Priscilla Wong (Corporate & Securities): Priscilla has over 10 years of experience in both financial services industry and private practice with a focus advising on non-contentious regulatory and compliance matters. She also advises on commercial and corporate finance transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate financing, regulatory and compliance matters and has handled numerous banking and asset management-related matters.

These new appointments follow the partner promotions, along with the counsel promotions for Sheryl Cheung, Ruth Lau and Crystal Li in the Corporate & Securities group, and Leonie Tear from the Banking & Finance group in July 2019.
