Asia's top tier international law firm King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) is continuing its expansion in Southeast Asia with the appointment of leading cross-border Dispute Resolution partner Amanda Lees to its Singapore office. Amanda is the latest partner to join KWM Southeast Asia practice following the appointments of John Shum, Jake Robson and Nick Davies over the past 18 months.

Amanda has close to a decade of experience working in the region, most recently with Simmons & Simmons JWS Pte Ltd and, prior to that, with Ashurst.

Leveraging Singapore's position as an economic hub for APAC, Amanda has built up a successful cross-border practice over the years. Amanda is an expert in international arbitration – both as counsel and arbitrator – and has strong experience in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, India, China, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore and Australia. She also specialises in commercial and investment treaty arbitration, other complex cross-border litigation and is currently a director of the Singapore branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
