On February 27, 2025, UBTECH ROBOTICS CORP LTD ("UBTECH", stock code: 9880.HK) successfully completed the placing of 10,155,099 new H shares, raising gross proceeds of approximately HK$931 million. This marks the fourth placing completed by UBTECH since its listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Guotai Junan Securities (Hong Kong) Limited, CLSA Limited and TradeGo Markets Limited acted as the placing agents.
UBTECH was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on December 29, 2023, and is the first listing of humanoid robotics company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. UBTECH is dedicated to the design, production, commercialization, sales and marketing, and research and development of smart service robots and smart robotic services. Its products are equipped with intelligent functions to perceive, interact, analyze and process human instructions and the external environment to varying degrees, ranging from education, logistics and other sector-tailored smart robotic products and services, as well as consumer-level robots and other hardware devices.

King & Wood Mallesons advised UBTECH for all four rounds of placing since its listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. UBTECH completed the placing of an aggregate of 23,635,099 new H shares on August 8, 2024, October 29, 2024, November 26, 2024, and February 27, 2025, raising approximately HKD 2.068 billion, nearly double its IPO fundraising amount.
