King & Wood Mallesons (“KWM”) advised the purchaser on its acquisition of the casino business in Laos PDR from Macau Legend Development Limited (“MLD”) (Hong Kong Stock Code: 1680).
KWM advised the purchaser on all aspects of the transaction, covering legal due diligence, the drafting of the sales and purchase agreement, and ancillary transaction documents. Throughout this transaction, KWM has maintained a seamless collaboration with the purchaser, actively participating in negotiations with MLD and the legal counsels from the BVI and Laos. This collaborative effort was instrumental in successfully navigating through all the technical issues on the target company and the target assets.
