King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) advised Wuhan Youji Holdings Ltd. (Wuhan Youji, HK Stock Code: 2881) on its global offering and listing on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (SEHK).
Shares of Wuhan Youji were listed on the SEHK on 18 June 2024. Priced at HK$5.5 per share, the global offering comprised a total of 18,300,000 shares and raised approximately HK$100 million (subject to exercise of the over-allotment option).
The company is a renowned toluene derivative products provider in the PRC and the global market, primarily focusing on the manufacture of toluene oxidation and chlorination products, benzoic acid ammonification products and other fine chemical products through organic synthesis process. The company’s toluene derivative products are primarily used for food preservatives, household chemicals, animal feed acidifier and synthetic intermediates for agrochemical and pharmaceutical uses.
BOCOM International (Asia) Limited is the sole sponsor, and BOCOM International Securities Limited is the sole overall coordinator, sole global coordinator, joint bookrunner and joint lead manager, providing sponsorship and underwriting services for the listing of Wuhan Youji on SEHK.
KWM acted as the legal adviser to the sole sponsor and underwriter on HK laws, conducted a comprehensive and in-depth analysis and demonstration on the key legal issues.
