King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) is pleased to announce that Hong Kong partner Jingjing Jiang has been named in China Business Law Journal's (CBLJ) 2020 Rising Stars list, which profiles 30 most accomplished next generation lawyers in China.
In its first year, the Rising Star list drew on nominations from corporate counsels and legal professionals and the editorial team's in-depth knowledge of China's legal market. Recognition from corporate counsel was a key factor in the selection process, with a particular focus on attributes such as business acumen, risk perception, and sense of responsibility etc.
Appointed to the partnership in 2016, Jingjing has advised some of the major players in Europe and Asia and sovereign wealth funds on significant international fund closings. Jingjing advises on the formation of all types of private funds and is also experienced in advising fund managers on separately managed accounts, co-investment and carried interest structuring and is familiar with fund structures in major jurisdictions. He also acts for both buyer and seller sides on large secondary transactions.
"I am privileged to be recognised as a member of this dynamic group of legal professionals," Jingjing Jiang said. "Chinese fund managers and investors have been playing a prevalent role in the international markets and I am fortunate to have worked with some of the largest and most influential players in funds and asset management areas in China and globally. I will continue to work closely with our global team to assist our clients with their international fund formation and fund-related transactions," Jingjing added.
