King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) is pleased to announce the addition of Rachel Yu as a partner in the Dispute Resolution practice of the Hong Kong office.
Rachel is a next generation dispute resolution lawyer who joins from Herbert Smith Freehills. She has over 12 years of experience advising clients primarily on complex financial disputes. She regularly advises on regulatory investigations by regulatory and enforcement authorities such as the Securities and Futures Commission, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and on commercial disputes including mis-selling, fraud, injunctions, debt recovery, security enforcement, joint venture and shareholders' disputes. Rachel also advises clients on associated PR and internal crisis management strategies.
Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, her clients include PRC and global investment banks, retail banks, private equity funds, asset managers, brokerages, Chinese listed companies and high net worth individuals.
