Don specialises in international arbitration and has a regional practice advising clients across a number of different industries. He has particular experience in major construction, resources, infrastructure and contractual disputes.
KWM Hong Kong's construction practice has gone from strength to strength, originating in the 1980s and establishing itself as a top tier practice, known for handling high-value matters for an enviable roster of blue-chip clients and with the region's leading lawyers.
The team is led by Paul Starr, who has a formidable reputation for large infrastructure disputes with long-standing experience spanning contentious matters in Hong Kong, the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East. Partner Edmund Wan is particularly well regarded for handling cross-border contentious construction mandates. The partners are supported by Counsel Richard Lyons and a further 22 lawyers specialising in construction and dispute resolution.
Paul Starr, Head of Dispute Resolution and Infrastructure said: "Don's practice and strong client base are complementary to KWM's top tier construction practice both in Hong Kong and across Asia. We are delighted to welcome him back to the firm and have him join the growing Hong Kong partnership."
