Cindy Shek receives ALB 40 under 40 2019 recognition

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) is pleased to announce that Cindy Shek has been named in Asian Legal Business' (ALB) 2019 "40 under 40" list, which profiles 40 most accomplished lawyers in Asia under 40 years of age.

Appointed to partner in July 2018, Cindy advises on all aspects of funds management, including both retail and private funds establishment, fund registrations (with both the SFC and the MPFA), as well as ongoing compliance, regulatory and licensing issues. She is also experienced in a diverse range of investment funds, including exchange trade funds, SFC authorised funds, open ended fund companies (OFCs), approved pooled investment funds, private equity funds, property funds, cross-border funds, segregated portfolio company and hedge funds.

The annual ALB 40 under 40 list highlights the next generation of young lawyers based on the quality and complexity of work, career achievements and recommendations from clients and supervisors. Cindy's recognition marks the fourth young partner of the Hong Kong office named in ALB's 40 under 40 list. Other partners recognised in the list included Jingjing Jiang in 2017, as well as Hao Zhou and Guo Sun Lee in 2015.
