Andrew advises major financial institutions and corporates on a wide range of innovative structured finance transactions, cross-border derivatives transactions, close-out netting and collateral arrangements, syndicated financing transactions, Basel III regulatory capital instruments, securities financing transactions and financial regulatory matters. Recently, he is part of the cross-border KWM team which prepared the International Swaps and Derivatives Association’s ground-breaking China netting and collateral opinions, marking a new chapter in China’s derivatives market.

Prior to joining KWM Hong Kong office in 2022, Andrew worked in KWM Melbourne office for nearly 7 years. Andrew graduated from Harvard Law School and Cambridge University. He has been regularly quoted as an expert by international press including Financial Times, New York Times and IFLR on various recent banking & finance market developments.
