Mr. Ye specialises in IPOs, M&A restructuring of listed companies, and formation, investment and financing of private funds.
Mr. Ye has advised many domestic enterprises on their financing, equity incentives, restructuring, listing and post-listing restructuring. He also counsels enterprises on compliance maintenance in the securities market and corporate governance. His clients are mainly from industries such as high-end manufacturing, military, cross-border e-commerce, electronic equipment, cultural creativity, architectural design, and real estate.
Mr. Ye has also led and participated in dozens of private investment/financing transactions on behalf of institutional investors, including leading PE/VC institutions in the market, listed companies' M&A funds, state-owned industrial funds, government guidance funds, angel investors, and large enterprise groups' financial holding platforms.
Mr. Ye also has rich experience in the formation, fund-raising, governance and compliance of RMB-denominated private equity funds. He has conducted on-site inspections of private equity fund managers on behalf of relevant regulators and has advised over 20 private equity asset managers on their formation and compliant operations.
Work Experience
Ye Kai joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2001.
Mr. Ye received his LL.B and LL.M (in Civil and Commercial Law) from Northwest University of Political Science and Law.
Mr. Ye is qualified to practise law in the PRC.
Mr. Ye's working languages are Chinese and English.
