Mr. Xin specializes in bankruptcy liquidation, winding-up liquidation, corporate merger, restructuring and insolvency as well as civil and commercial litigation and its execution.
Mr. Xin has 10 years' experience in law teaching and research, which helps lay a solid theory foundation on jurisprudence. He has also been a judge for many years, working in the bankruptcy law court, execution court, and commercial law court successively. He is thus familiar with the rules and features in delivering judgments and the working system of restructuring and insolvency, bankruptcy liquidation, winding-up liquidation, corporate M&A and restructuring, financial and contract disputes, and the execution of the civil and commercial lawsuits, accumulating a wealth of relevant work experience.
Since engaged in the legal profession, Mr. Xin has been dedicated to restructuring, insolvency, and reorganization for more than a decade and well-known as a professional lawyer with rich experience in the practice area. As the administrator or head of the liquidation team, Mr. Xin has worked on numerous cases in relation to bankruptcy liquidation, bankruptcy restructuring, and winding-up liquidation, which involve restructuring listed and unlisted companies, winding-up liquidation and bankruptcy liquidation for securities companies, restructuring, winding-up liquidation and bankruptcy liquidation for large Sino-Foreign equity joint venture, including bankruptcy liquidation for Guangzhou Sunteck Technology Co., Ltd, winding-up and bankruptcy liquidation for Minan Securities Co., Ltd, bankruptcy liquidation for Guangzhou Shuangling Steel Industry Co., Ltd., bankruptcy restructuring for Henan Airlines Co., Ltd, bankruptcy restructuring for Chang Jiang Shipping Group Phoenix Co., Ltd., bankruptcy restructuring for Shanghai GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd., bankruptcy restructuring for Nanjing Tanker Corporation, bankruptcy restructuring for Wuhan Huaxin Hi-tech Co., Ltd., bankruptcy liquidation for Chang Jiang Shipping Group Phoenix Co., Ltd., bankruptcy restructuring for Guangzhou Yagang Steel Co., Ltd., bankruptcy restructuring for Guangzhou Yatong Medal Co., Ltd, and etc.
As the specialized legal counsel, Mr. Xin has also assisted a Top 500 enterprise of the world on holding shares of a large domestic airline company, a large-scale real property enterprise on the share restructuring in Guangzhou, Jade Cargo International Co., Ltd. on the restructuring, a Top 500 enterprise of the world on restructuring a domestic pharmaceutics enterprise, a large-scale real property enterprise on the debt restructuring in Shenzhen, and etc.
Mr. Xin also participated in the research and legislative preparation of the new Insolvency Law and Judicial Interpretations, as well as co-authored and published Juridical Standard on Enterprise Bankruptcy Cases.
Work experience
Mr. Xin joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2004.
Mr. Xin graduated from Jiling University, obtaining an LL.B. and was admitted as a PRC lawyer in 1995.
