Tim advises on the major finance documents and project documents. In addition, Tim specialises in multiple-source financing platforms.

He has strong experience in domestic and international capital markets for Australian issuers including syndicated bank debt, USPP, AMTN, EMTN, 144A and Asian funding sources. Tim also practices in general financing transactions.

Tim's work highlights include:

  • Infrastructure: Acting for grantors, sponsors, concessionaires and financiers on bids, acquisitions, financings and ongoing operational matters. This includes acting for Metro Trains Melbourne on its successful bid for "MR4" for the Melbourne metropolitan train franchise. It also includes acting on a large number of economic and social PPPs/concessions such as EastLink, WestConnex, Westlink M7, Queensland Motorways, Cross City Tunnel, High Capacity Metro Trains, Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre, New Royal Adelaide Hospital, New Bendigo Hospital, Northern Beaches Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, Royal Women's Hospital, Royal Children's Hospital, Victorian Schools, South Australian Schools, Ararat Prison, Victorian Public Housing and Melbourne Connect.
  • Financing platforms: Acting on financing platforms for issuers including Ausgrid, TransGrid, TransGrid Services (Lumea), ElectraNet, AEMO, Transurban, Transurban Queensland, WestConnex, ConnectEast, Westlink M7, OneRail, EnergyAustralia and QBE. This includes establishing/restructuring security and intercreditor platforms, establishing/restructuring bank debt documentation, establishing structured letter of credit facilities, and advising on programme establishment and inaugural issuances into the domestic and international capital markets.
